6 Ways to Reduce Stress Without Pills

Don’t let dealers take advantage of you.

Get Into A Routine

Get into a Routine

It can be hard to keep track of things and prioritize when we are stressed; start by making simple lists to keep your days in order. For example: wake up at the same time, keep a schedule for classes and studying, eat meals at a consistent time, and stay physically active.

Take a Pause

Take a Pause

School can get very overwhelming, so try your best to avoid burnout. Take a one or two hour break to refresh your mind and alleviate anxiety.

Watch What You Eat

What and when we eat can have an impact on how we feel. Maintain balanced nutrition by eating three meals per day and snacking in moderation.

Exercise

Exercise

A healthy way to blow off steam is to get regular exercise. Incorporate exercise into your schedule by doing yoga in the morning, walking or biking to school, or studying while walking on a treadmill.

Maintain Connections with Others

What is Naloxone and how do you use it?

Naloxone – also known as NARCAN® nasal spray – is a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids, including heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioid medications. Often given as a nasal spray, naloxone is safe and easy to use.

Naloxone quickly reverses an overdose by blocking the effects of opioids. It can restore normal breathing within 2 to 3 minutes in a person whose breath has slowed, or even stopped, as a result of opioid overdose. More than one dose of naloxone may be required when stronger opioids like fentanyl are involved.

Always call 911 before administering Naloxone as medical attention may still be required to prevent further harm.
